Kids Like Me
by Constance H. Foster

This very short but informative book essentially contains five short stories about five children, all with different “types” of OCD. Kids Like Me is geared towards the early adolescent/older child. This is a good book for children who want to read stories about other children who are also struggling with OCD. Another strength of the book is the forward by Marc Summers. It lets children see a real face and hear a real voice of someone who suffers from OCD.

Price: $3.60

Pros: Short, yet informative. The children in the stories seem very real. Good for getting children to focus on the feelings around their OCD.
Cons: Could elaborate more on the struggles leading up to the various children getting diagnosed with OCD.
